Allison Ricci Raises $8,000 For Miles Of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation

In October Allison Ricci transforms her Halmar International #55 Small Block Modified into a fundraising billboard by putting on the now familiar pink body to draw attention to the work of Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.  Along with raising awareness of the foundation’s work Allison sells special edition merchandise and her race earnings from the month get donated to the foundation.

October was a busy month for the New Paltz, NY driver as she took on her first Super DIRT Week at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY as well as racing in Eastern States Weekend at her home track Orange County Fair Speedway.

While Allison was busy racing , she was also busy in her fundraising efforts. Allison was able to raise $8,000 for Miles of Hope , of course it was not without the help of a lot of people that made the endeavor possible.

Allison wanted to take a second to thank them.

It means a lot to raise this much money for such a great organization and for a great cause, especially knowing that this money is going to help people try and beat this horrible cancer.

I want to thank Chris Larsen and Halmar for letting me raise money every year for a great cause by getting shirts made up and getting the car all lettered in pink.

Thanks to Ryan Sacco at Simplicity Designs for making an awesome design as usual.

I also have to thank Jessica Friesen at One Zee Tees for making the shirts look awesome and for doing them in a short time period.

I also have to thank my mom for taking the time to sell the shirts. She puts a lot of time and effort into making a shirt trailer and getting everything organized for selling the shirts.

Jeff and Ryan of course need thanks for making the corn hole boards to raffle off and Ryanalso made up breast cancer stickers and donating them to us to sell and raise money.

I have to thank Bobby Varin and the Palmer Family for donating their winnings to help the cause when I raced at Fonda Speeday

The biggest thanks has to go out to all the fans and everyone who bought a shirt, i hope they know their money went to help a great charity.
