Ryan Hill / Marshall Racing - Middletown, NY- Eddie Marshall is locked into Sunday’s Eastern States 200 at Orange County Fair Speedway(OCFS).
Friday was a a day both busy and successful for the Marshall Oil 98 team. The day started with Modified Hot Laps and Eddie was 9th fastest on the speed charts on the hard clay.
Eddie’s Teo Pro Car utilizing an Ender’s power plant was strong heading into Time Trials where he was 17th fastest out of the over 60 ground pounders that hit the track with the hopes of locking into Sunday's Main event.
Next up was the qualifying heat races. Eddie would start on the outside pole, and after some early jostling for position Eddie would sail on the heat race victory, and a guranteed starting spot for Sunday’s 200 Lap event.
“ Friday went great for us. The car has been very strong, it has almost surprised me, but this is a good start for us , especially here at OCFS. We have a bit of work to do today to fix a few things, and get all of our stuff in order for Sunday.” - Eddie Marshall
The Marshall Oil 98 will not be hitting the track on Saturday, next up will be practice sessions on Sunday before the 200.
