Allison Ricci Battles Back To 11th Place ‘Hard Clay Finale’ Finish
Ryan Hill / Blue Cord PR - Middletown, NY- Allison Ricci’s first night of Eastern States Weekend started Thursday night with The Short Track Super Series ( STSS) ‘Hard Clay Finale’.
Over 60 Modifieds entered the event , making the event Ricci would start 22nd in the stout field of competitors on the hunt for the $5,000 winner’s share of the night’s purse.
Allison climbed the #406 machine up to about 8th position when her right rear tire went flat. After pitting Ricci was able to make her way back into the top ten where she was collected in an accident forcing another pit stop.
The team was able to make the necessary repairs and Ricci was back on the hunt. She would make it back into the top ten once again and while running in about the 9th position the motor would expire with 2 Laps to go. Allison would finish the race in 11th Place.
